L-Ascorbic Acid
Many Vitamin C serums change colour after a few weeks due to break down (oxidation) of the Vitamin C. However, stabilised Vitamin C represents the next generation in Vitamin C therapy, whereby L-ascorbic acid is submicronised and encapsulated in a water free base. It is a lipid soluble serum that is stable for 24
months and does not oxidize on contact with air as do other water-soluble serums.
Because the particles in Synergie Suprema-C are submicronised, the larger surface area to volume ratio results in more bio-active sites and greater skin penetration compared to other forms of L-ascorbic acid currently available.
