Description
This is a unique and challenging opportunity that has been created for someone that would like to help run a business, without the responsibility of having to own a business.
You’ll engage in a large variety of tasks – including, but not limited to, consulting clients, performing treatments, basic administration such as stock takes, answering the phone, creating social media content, replying to customer enquiries and so on.
In addition, you will be working closely with the clinic directors/owners to identify and improve on policies and procedures, new treatment and product opportunities, engaging with sales and business development representatives and more. You’ll also be involved in training future team members.
You will play a key role in future growth and development.
Core Function & Duties
As You’ll be responsible for performing a large range of treatments, as well as training and upskilling for any new treatments that we may introduce.
Core duties include:
- Perform all treatments according to policies and procedures
- Attend all required training and educational events as required
- Conduct thorough and professional consultations with clients
- Provide professional, clear and concise advice and guidance to clients
- Ensure client records are kept up to date, accurate and correct at all times
- Make and receive phone calls
- Assist with the management of bookings
- Reply to client enquiries via email or social media when necessary
Skills & Experience
You must have a Diploma of Beauty with a minimum of 2 years full-time experience in a similar role. You will be required to demonstrate your skills and experience.
Skills and experienced expected of you include:
- The ability to identify common skin conditions and prescribe appropriate solutions
- The ability to communicate clearly with clients of all walks of life, building rapport and trust
- Knowledge of key ingredients and how they work within the skin
- Knowledge of different chemical peeling solutions, how they work, and when to use them
- The ability to identify contraindications and provide solutions to remedy them where possible
- A fundamental understanding of light-based treatments, including Laser, IPL and LED
- Experience performing micro-needling treatments
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge and understanding of infection control and prevention
Laser Safety Certification and Advanced Laser Training qualifications would be an advantage, but not essential.
