Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2

Tetrapeptide that improves firmness and laxity. It combats skin damage by improving cohesion, assembly and production of dermal collagen and elastin.

This peptide also reduced skin laxity by enhancing production of key skin proteins, fibulin (FBLN5) and lysyl oxydase-like1 (LOXL1). These proteins are fundamental for the assembly and synthesis of functional elastin. Acetyl tetrapeptide-2 further contributes to skin firmness by promoting dermal cohesion. Clinical data shows type 1 collagen increases by 47.3% and elastin fibres by 21.7% with a 16% increase in visual elasticity after 56 days.
